Pond and lake dredging

Alaska operates two 30t amphibious excavators; 21t Volvo excavators mounted on ‘Kori’ pontoon tracks. We also have an amphibious carrier platform that can be utilised. This enables us to sensitively operate excavators in extremely soft conditions where it would be otherwise impossible to use a machine.

‘Kori’ can safely operate in up to 1.8m of water before becoming buoyant. Beyond depths of 1.8m it becomes fully buoyant, but can be self-propelled using a small outboard or moved using a tugboat.

This makes our ‘Kori’ excavators ideal for lake dredging operations
